As a company, we feel passionate about our social responsibility to the needs of the community in which we live and work. In a small effort to give something back, we have committed a percentage of our profits to supporting two specific charities each year.
This year, Mouland Mann is delighted to support the following charities:
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, caring for children and young people with cancer and their families in hospital and in the community. Every day, 10 families are told that their child has cancer and with over 350 full and part time staff, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation in the country to offer all round care and support at every stage. Services are tailored to family needs, using feedback from their service-users. They give children, young people and their families a strong national voice and the clinical research looks at ways of improving treatment and managing side-effects, to help patients and to improve quality of life for survivors. Tomorrow’s People – is a charity dedicated to breaking the cycle of unemployment for those most marginalised in society and who feel resigned to long-term unemployment and welfare dependency. Being out of work for a long period of time is a key factor in determining a person’s health, life expectancy, housing, educational achievement, general well-being and prospects in life. Tomorrow’s People helps put people back on the road to employment by providing jobseekers with the skills and qualifications that employers need. Since the mid 1980s, the organisation has helped almost half a million people by providing specialist and community support all over the UK, unlocking potential and helping people build a brighter future.
